The Albany Lodge
Tucked into a canyon at the base of the mountains, the Albany Lodge is your gateway to all the Medicine Bow National Forest has to offer. From ATV riding and fishing in the summer, hunting during the fall, or snowmobiling in the winter, Albany is a getaway for all seasons and all reasons whether you are looking to relax or are adventure bound. In the summer, enjoy a hike up the Snowy Range, with breathtaking 360 degree views of southeast Wyoming from the top of the 12,000' Medicine Bow Peak. In the winter, the area boasts cross coutry and downhill skiing as well as snowboarding, in addition to the abundant and varried snowmobiling opportunities. Albany Lodge is located just 32 miles west of Laramie on HWY 11 (address is Laramie but we are Albany) and is an easy two and a half hour drive north from Denver. We are open 365 days a year and our services include a restaurant serving hommade food all day long, lodging, bar, fuel, package liquor, convenience store, and snowmobile and ATV rentals.
